Our brand new vid for the single “Looking Back” hit the web today. “Looking Back” is a stand-out track from the album Phoenix Down, as it highlights the more subtle parts of our musical inspiration. Enjoy the video, subscribe to our YouTube channel and share it with people you love!
Everyone at DSW camp has been very busy over the Holidays and we’re ready to kick off the new year with a brand new video!
Following the well received video cover of Alice In Chains’ “Man In The Box“, this is our third video project and the second to cover one of the tracks off our debut album, Phoenix Down. The track “Looking Back” was released as a single in 2011 and is one of the most stand-out songs on the album, so we found it only natural to record the video in a quiet and intimate environment, capturing the song’s mood.
The video premieres on Thursday, January 10th 2013. Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel and catch it while it’s hot. In the meantime, here is a little teaser!
We’re always trying out new stuff live. It’s what we love to do. Here’s a vid from last Friday’s gig – containing a heavily distorted performance of “Piece Of Me”, a new song to be possibly inluded on the next album. Click, watch, enjoy & share!
Luka and Jani explain the musical background behind Dirtswitch, tell about the recording of “Phoenix Down” and give a few hints of what is yet to come in the future in this exclusive interview for Rockline!

Friday night with LastDayHere was one of the best gigs we’ve ever done in our lifetime. Here’s a full report from Rockline (in Slovene)!
The year 2012 marks the 10th anniversary of the death of Layne Thomas Staley, frontman of the legendary Alice In Chains, icon..legend. The music of Alice In Chains has shaped as much the sound of the 90s as it has shaped us. The heavy guitars, the slow grind and the powerful vocal harmonies of two of the best voices from the grunge movement has been a constant source of inspiration for us.
This is our tribute to Layne, Mike, the surviving members of Alice In Chains and all the members of the 27 club.
Probably one of the most influential songs off Alice in Chains’ 1990 album, ‘Facelift’, this has been one of our favorite songs to cover. So we decided to do it properly. Enjoy the teaser below and tune in on November 13th!
